Mulayam elected SP national president for eighth time

Mulayam Singh Yadav was on Tuesday elected unopposed as the national president of Samajwadi Party for the eighth time at the party`s national convention here.

Agra: Mulayam Singh Yadav was on Tuesday elected
unopposed as the national president of Samajwadi Party for the
eighth time at the party`s national convention here.
Yadav`s name was proposed by several party leaders
including Reoti Raman Singh and Mohan Singh after which he was
once again elected the party supremo.
SP also authorised Yadav to select national office
bearers and members of the party.

"The people of the country are in confusion and dilemma
in the present political scenario and I will try to win the
confidence of the people," Yadav said, addressing party
members on the occasion.
