Mulayam's daughter-in-law to write to PM for AIIMS in Gorakhpur

Aparna Yadav, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's daugther-in-law, on Monday said she would write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for getting an AIIMS for the city.

Gorakhpur (UP): Aparna Yadav, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's daugther-in-law, on Monday said she would write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for getting an AIIMS for the city.

"I will write to Prime Minister on behalf of my organisation to approve an AIIMS in the city," Aparna said in reply to a question while visiting encephalitis patients admitted in a medical college here.

Aparna, who is married to Mulayam's son Prateek, works for social organisation Harsh.

She appealed people to fight encephalitis and remain aware of the disease.

"Emphasis should be given on cleanliness and people should remain aware of the causes of the disease," she said.

During a visit to the hospital wards, Aparna also called up state Health Minister Ahmad Hasan after she did not find cleanliness there.

During the visit to city, Aparna also visited Gorakhnath temple and offered condolences over the death of Mahant Avaidhnath and also met his heir and BJP MP Adityanath.
