Muzaffarnagar: Doctor beaten to death for rape attempt

Muzaffarnagar: A doctor was allegedly
beaten to death for attempting to rape a woman by angry locals
of Rajpur Ghari village in the district, police said Wednesday.

40-year-old Indra Pal, forcefully entered into a house
and tried to rape the woman. Enraged over the incident,
villagers beat the doctor to death last night, they said.

In another case, a seven-year-old girl was today
allegedly raped by a man identified as Bhura in Dala Heri
village.

The accused was later sent to 14-days judicial remand
by a local court here.
