Six persons were injured when a clash broke out between two groups over the issue of harassment of two girls at Alluwada village in the district, police said on Friday.

Muzaffarnagar: Six persons were injured when a clash broke out between two groups over the issue of harassment of two girls at Alluwada village in the district, police said on Friday.

The incident took place yesterday when the two girls were harassed by some people while they were in a queue to get Aadhar cards following which some persons objected to it, they said.

The injured Ravi, Rahul, Deepak, Amit, Tejpal and Suresh were shifted to a hospital, police said, adding investigations are on.
