Gonda: Unidentified miscreants shot
dead a noted heart specialist of the district near Kotwali in
the city here this morning.
Circle officer Surya Bali Singh said three miscreants
arrived at the house of N K Goswami this morning on a
motorcycle and when the doctor opened the door on their
knocking they shot him dead.
Two persons who rushed to save the doctor on hearing
gunshots, were pushed down the stairs by the trio who fled
leaving their bike behind.
An FIR in this connection has been filed by the
brother of the deceased against unknown persons.
