Obama visit: Top UP govt officers review arrangements

Top Uttar Pradesh government officials on Friday held a meeting here to review security and other arrangements in Agra ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to the city on January 27.

Lucknow: Top Uttar Pradesh government officials on Friday held a meeting here to review security and other arrangements in Agra ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to the city on January 27.

Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan, Principal Secretary (Home) Devashish Panda, Director General of Police AK Gupta held the meeting with officials in Agra through video conference and gave them directions, official sources said here.

For security purposes, Director General (Security) Gopal Gupta has been stationed in Agra as the nodal officer and ADG (Law and Order) Mukul Goel was also sent to handle requirement of force.

Agra administration has demanded 10 SPs, 12 ASPs, 24 DSPs, 10 company of CPMF, 12 companies of PAC and one company of flood division for the security.
