One killed, two injured in firing in UP

One person was Wednesday killed and two others were injured when members of Samajwadi Party and BSP fired at each other during block head elections, police said.

Azamgarh: One person was Wednesday killed and two others were injured when members of Samajwadi Party and BSP fired at each other during block head elections, police said.
The incident took place in Atraulia police circle in which Mahendra Yadav (35) was killed, they said.

The two injured were rushed to a hospital, where their
condition was stated to be stable.
SP`s Chandra Shekhar Yadav and BSP`s Lalji Singh is in
the fray for the block head seat.
