New Delhi: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar will on Tuesday travel to Lucknow to visit the the Army's Central Command headquarters.
This would be hit first visit to the state that he represents in the Rajya Sabha following his election in November.
Parrikar had said he will visit the state and adopt a village.
Media reports have suggested that he may adopt a village in Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha constituency under Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana.
