Police rescue two kidnapped children, one still untraceable

Two out of three school children, who were kidnapped by an unidentified person in Fatehpur area of the district last Friday, were rescued from Surajpur area in Noida, police said.

Faridabad: Two out of three school
children, who were kidnapped by an unidentified person in
Fatehpur area of the district last Friday, were rescued on Sunday
from Surajpur area in Noida, police said.

After getting a tip off that a man was seen taking two
boys in a bus near Surajpur area, the Noida police intercepted
the bus and rescued the children while the man was able to
flee the scene, Police Commissioner P K Agarwal said.
Efforts are on to trace the third child, he added.

According to complaints filed by the parents of the
children, Rohit (11), his brother Yogendra (10), Uday (8) were
returning with a girl Anjali when the man lured the four by
promising them new clothes on Friday, police said, adding that
the three boys agreed to accompany the suspect, but the girl
refused.
Anjali later informed this to the parents of the boys.
