Procession taken out against atrocities in Bahrain, Libya

Lucknow: Shia community on Sunday took out a
procession in Lucknow to protest against alleged atrocities on
people by armed forces in Bahrain and Libya.

The procession was led by prominent Shia cleric and
member of Muslim Personal Law Board, Maulana Kalbe Jawad
Naqvi.

Addressing the meeting, Maulana Jawad demanded the
Union Nations to make an initiative for restoration of
democracy in the two countries and rights of the people there.

The Indian government should exert diplomatic pressure
and ask Saudi Arabian and UAE forces to withdraw from Bahrain,
he said.
