Mathura: The city police claimed to have
busted a gang involved in prostitution, with the arrest of
four girls in Radhe Shyam Colony.

"Based on a tip-off, a police team raided a house in
the colony where a call girl racket was allegedly running and
arrested four girls last evening," SSP Bhanu Bhaskar said.

However, the pimp managed to escape from the spot, he
said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab her and
the other accused.

"Thirteen people of the area who had tried to prevent
the arrest of a woman pimp and the girls have also been
arrested," Bhaskar said.

Raids will be conducted at different places in order
to restrict the illicit flesh trade, he said.

While two girls are from Mailani of Lakhimpur
district, the other two are from Agra and Kanpur respectively,
he said.
