Rainfall at isolated places in UP

Light to moderate rains occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh in the past 24 hours, even though the minimum temperature remained above normal in several districts of the state.

Lucknow: Light to moderate rains occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh in the past 24 hours, even though the minimum temperature remained above normal in several districts of the state.
Deoband received 3 cm of rainfall while Nakur, Saharanpur and Bijnore recorded 1 cm each. Fog occurred at isolated places.

The lowest temperature in the state was recorded at Orai at 7.5 degrees Celsius.

According to Met department, weather was mainly dry in Jhansi and Agra divisions and dry over the remaining divisions of the state.
Minimum temperature rose and stayed above normal in Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, and Moradabad divisions, while there was little change recorded in other divisions of the state. It was appreciably above normal in Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Meerut division, as per a Met department report.

Rain/thundershowers would occur at isolated places over west UP and weather would be mainly dry in the eastern parts of the state, according to the report.
