Muzaffarnagar: A man has been sentenced to seven years rigorous imprisonment for raping a minor girl here.
Additional District Judge, MK Shukla while convicting the accused Intazar Ahmad yesterday also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000.
According to the prosecution, Intazar had taken the 14-year-old victim to Hyderabad, where on November 9, 2010 he raped her at gun point. Later the girl was recovered by police on November 13.
The victim's father had lodged the complaint against the youth.
