Bijnor: A retired army officer allegedly shot dead his younger brother over a property dispute in Vilai
village in Haldaur police station area, police said on Wednesday.
Satendra Chauhan shot dead his younger brother Navneet Chauhan (35) with a pistol last night when the latter was sleeping near a well, police said.
Police suspect property dispute to be the reason behind the killing.
The accused is absconding and police is investigating the matter.
