With the turf war in the first family of Samajwadi Party spinning out of control, all eyes are on party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
Lucknow: With the turf war in the first family of Samajwadi Party spinning out of control, all eyes are on party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.
UP health Minister Ravidas Mehrotra said, “Mulayam Yadav's got 50 yrs of experience; tomorrow's SP parliamentary board meeting will resolve the issues.”
“Samajwadi Party parliamentary board meeting will resolve the issues; Akhileshji and Shivpalji will start working together,” he added.
His reaction came after Shivpal Yadav, who is the younger brother of Mulayam Singh Yadav, resigned from the Akhilesh cabinet. He also quit as UP party chief – he had replaced Akhilesh to the post two days back.
However, reports said that Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has rejected Shivpal Yadav's resignation.
Meanwhile, supporters have gathered outside Shivpal Yadav's residence and are shouting slogans hailing their leader.
Slamming the SP, the BJP said, “This is political drama, which is affecting the state's development.”
