Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav complains of chest pain, admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi: Expelled Samajwadi Party general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav has been rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here after he complained of severe chest pain and uneasiness on Friday afternoon.

The SP leader is being attended by doctors at the moment. More details are awaited.

Ram Gopal Yadav, who has firmly backed his nephew and young Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, who is locked in a bitter power struggle with his uncle Shivpal Yadav, was recently expelled from the party led by his elder brother and SP veteran Mulayam Singh Yadav.

SP general secretary Amar Singh, who is being largely blamed for the ongoing rift in Uttar Pradesh' first family, had yesterday claimed that he was scared of Ram Gopal Yadav as the latter had openly threatened him of dire consequences over his alleged interference in the Samajwadi family's internal matters.

Ram Gopal Yadav has recently said that minus Akhilesh Yadav there is no Samajwadi Party and pledged to everything to make him the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh again in case his party wins the 2017 assembly polls.
