New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday agreed to hear a PIL challenging suspension of IAS officer Durga Sakthi Nagpal by the Uttar Pradesh government for allegedly razing a wall of an under-construction mosque in a Greator Noida village.
The apex court also posted the matter for hearing on August 12.

The PIL was filed against the suspension of the young IAS officer seeking an ex parte stay on all proceedings against her.
The PIL was filed in the wake of the Samajwadi Party government`s refusal to withdraw her suspension despite overwhelming evidence that Nagpal was not responsible for demolishing the wall and the action taken against her was both unwarranted and unjust.
