School teacher shot dead in Lucknow

Lucknow: A school teacher was shot dead on Saturday allegedly by two motorcycle-borne assailants in Chatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Nagar here, police said.
Samarnath, a teacher in Shivli Manikpur school, was on his way to work when he was shot dead by the unidentified assailants near a railway crossing in Jagdishpur bazar area.
A case has been registered and investigations are on, officials said.
