Security beefed up at Mathura district court
In the wake of two persons being shot dead inside court premises in Uttar Pradesh, security has been stepped up inside the premises of Mathura district court.

SSP Manzil Saini today said that hand-held metal detectors are been used by the police to check persons entering the court premises. Also, metal detectors will be soon installed at all the gates of the court.
Moreover, an officer of the rank of Police Inspector SB Singh has been appointed as special security officer to overlook the security.
One sub-inspector will be deployed at every gate and he will assisted by some home guards personnel, the SSP said, adding women police personnel and sleuths of local intelligence department in plain clothes will also keep a watch.
On February 23, a local leader identified as Yogen Singh alias Bhoora, who was an accused in a murder case shot dead allegedly by two persons inside the Moradabad district court campus here.
Similarly, on February 16 Vicky Tyagi, an alleged gangster, was shot dead by a youth inside a courtroom in Muzzafarnagar while hearing in the case was going on.
Last month, a jail inmate was killed and two others injured in firing between the prisoners of Mathura district jail.
