Mau: Seven persons were on Thursday killed and six others injured when a jeep in which they were travelling collided with a truck here, police said.
The accident occurred near Ratanpur market in Haldarpur police station area when the jeep, on its way to Ratanpur from Mau, collided with the truck and fell into a
pond, they said.
The injured have been admitted to a hospital where condition of some of them was stated to be serious, they said, adding senior officials have rushed to the spot.
