Seven people killed in bus-jeep collision near Allahabad

Seven persons, including three women, were killed and ten others injured when a jeep and a mini-bus collided head-on in the district this morning, police said.

and a mini-bus collided head-on in the district this morning,
police said.

The incident occurred under Kaundhiyara police station
area of the district`s trans-Yamuna region, 45 kms from the
city.

Three occupants of the jeep died on the spot, while
four persons, travelling in the bus, succumbed to their
injuries on way to a hospital, police added.

Besides, ten people have been admitted to a hospital
in a critical condition, police said, adding drivers of both
the vehicles fled the spot soon after the mishap.
