Six injured in a clash in Saharanpur

 Six persons including two women were injured after a clash broke out between two communities in Chakdevali village in the district today, police said.

Saharanpur (UP): Six persons including two women were injured after a clash broke out between two communities in Chakdevali village in the district today, police said.
 

SP (City) Mahendra Yadav said that a clash broke out between the two communities who resorted to stone pelting after water flow was stopped for ongoing construction of culvert.
After getting information, police reached the spot and have detained those persons who were indulged in stone pelting, he said.

The matter is being investigated and the guilty will not be spared, SP said.

As a precautionary measure, security has been stepped up with a large number of police personnel deployed in the village.
