Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday issued strict warning to party cadres and said that any member found indulging in hooliganism should will be expelled.

“If a member of any UP government`s minister is found indulging in hooliganism, then the involved people will be sacked. There have been several instances in which SP party members have been found indulging in hooliganism. All these incidents spoil the image of the party,” he said on the occasion of 111th birth anniversary of Chowdhary Charan Singh at his party office.

He further said that just because someone`s father is a minister in the UP government, that does not mean that they can indulge in hooliganism.
The veteran socialist leader said that his party`s image is being spoiled by party workers themselves.

“Words and languages of those who are a part of the government should be able to impress people,” he added.
He, however, praised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and said that the workers of the main opposition party never indulge in hooliganism and therefore win elections in many states.
