SP sets up committees to probe complaints of conspiracy to defeat party candidates

 Samajwadi Party (SP) today set up three committees to probe complaints that some party office bearers conspired to defeat party nominees in Ghazipur, Jaunpur and Rae Bareli in the recent election to the state legislative council.

Samajwadi Party Uttar Pradesh unit president Akhilesh Yadav set up three committees to probe complaints that party office bearers conspired to defeat party candidates in the legislative council election.

While the committee to probe the complaints for Jaunpur will have Javed Ali Khan (MP) and Umashankar Chaudhary (member of party's state committee), Kamal Akhtar (minister) and Naresh Uttam (state unit vice president) will be members of the committee for Ghazipur, state unit spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said.

Raviprakash Verma (MP) and Naemul Hasan (chairman UP minimum wages advisory board) will be members of the committee for Rae Bareli, Chaudhary said adding that these committees have been asked to conduct detailed probe and submit their reports in 10-days time.
