New Delhi: Branding the UPA as "most
corrupt and dishonest" government, Samajwadi Party MPs Thursday
staged a sit-in inside the Parliament complex demanding a JPC
probe into the 2G Spectrum and Adarsh Housing Society scams
and warned of taking the agitation to the streets.

"Till now, this government was maintaining an honest
image but this is the most corrupt and dishonest government,"
SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav told reporters here.

Demanding a JPC probe into the corruption allegations,
he said, "The protest that we have started here in Parliament will now be taken to the public in streets... we are demanding a JPC probe into the scams."
On the three-week long impasse in the Parliament,
Yadav said it seemed that the Government also did not want the
House to function so that it does not have to answer the
Opposition.

"If they want to run away, then our job is done and it
means that they cannot contest and reply to the allegations,"
he said.
Samajwadi Party members today began their march to the
Lok Sabha from the gates of Parliament with Yadav in the lead.
They entered the House raising slogans `Kendra sarkar hosh
mein aao, JPC banao` (Wake up, Central government and form a
JPC).
