Mulayam had been admitted to a hospital in Gurgaon late on Friday night after he complained of uneasiness and breathing difficulty.
The 75-year-old has been advised rest and there is no need to panic, Samajwadi Party Spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary had informed earlier today.
Earlier this week, Yadav had been admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow and was discharged after an overnight stay in the hospital after some tests.
On the advise of doctors, Yadav had stayed back in Lucknow during the Holi celebration cancelling his programme to visit his native Saifai village in Etawah.
