Lucknow: The Special Task Force of UP police on Saturday arrested three arms smugglers, and recovered illegal weapons from them in Muzaffarnagar district.
Tasim, Sabir and Umar Alam were on Saturday arrested from
Shahpur crossing of Mansoorpur area of the district, police
said.
STF had been getting information about the criminals,
involved in smuggling of illegal arms, in Western region of
the state for past several days, they said.
Two pistols, one country made rifle, 252 live cartridges
were recovered from them, they said.
The trio were involved in the illegal business for past
several years.
