Student commits suicide in Lucknow

Lucknow: A class 12th student allegedly
committed suicide by shooting himself in Vikas Nagar area
here, police said on Tuesday.

20-year-old Abhishek Pratap Singh shot himself with a
licensed revolver of his father last evening at his residence
when he was alone, they said, adding he was rushed to a trauma
centre, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The motive behind Singh taking the extreme step is not
yet known.
