Firozabad: A Class 9 student in Uttar Pradesh killed a 31-year-old man for allegedly attempting to sodomise him, police said on Saturday, adding the boy has been arrested.
The 14-year-old boy, a resident of Kashmiri Gate locality, attacked Danish, a quack, late Friday with a knife. The boy worked as a helper at Danish's clinic in Firozabad, some 300 km from Lucknow.
"The boy told us that Danish called him Friday night, saying there was some emergency at the clinic," police inspector RS Sonkar told reporters here on Saturday.
"He alleged that as he reached the clinic, Danish forcibly took him inside a room and tried to sodomise him at knife point. According to the boy, he snatched the knife from Danish and attacked him with it after which he died," Sonkar added.
Upon hearing shrieks, locals rushed to the clinic and caught hold of the boy, and handed him over to the police.
