Varanasi: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik on Friday said a thorough probe into Noida land scam was required to expose the deep nexus between the corrupt technocrats- bureaucrats and the politicians.
"Those found guilty in the case should be punished severely so that the public money won't get wasted in near future by?such kind of people," Naik told reporters.
He was here to attend 32nd convocation ceremony of Sampurnand Sanskrit University.
Emphasising the need to provide quality education to students in the universities, he said Sanskrit language is the soul of Indian literature and culture and it must be promoted by the passing out students of this university.
Recently IT department had conducted raids at several places, including house of Noida authority chief engineer Yadav Singh, and business partners of his wife and recovered Rs 10 crore and jewellery from there.
