Sitapur: A couple was among three persons killed when their motorcycle was hit by a truck in Ataria area here, police said on Wednesday.
Santosh Verma (32), his wife Usha (29) and Manoj (30) were killed when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by the truck on the national highway yesterday, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The truck driver fled the spot leaving the vehicle behind, police said, adding a case has been registered and further investigations are on.
