Three women killed as bus hits tree

Siddharth Nagar: Three women were on Wednesday
killed and 10 others injured when the mini-bus in which they
were travelling rammed into a tree on Basti-Bani road.

The mishap occured this evening, when one of the front
tyres of the mini-bus carrying pilgrims from Maharashtra,
burst causing the vehicle to veer off and hit the tree, police
sources said here.

Two women Chandrabhaga and Hausa Bai were killed on
the spot whereas Ankita Bai succumbed to injuries at the
district hospital, police said.

The injured were admitted to the district hospital,
where condition of some was stated to be serious, they said.

All the 15 passengers travelling in the bus hailed
from Aurangabad district in Maharashtra.
