Three youths were on Monday run over by an express train when they were clicking pictures from a camera on a railway track near Nabipur village here, police said on Monday.

Mathura: Three youths were on Monday run over by an express train when they were clicking pictures from a camera on a railway track near Nabipur village here, police said on Monday.

The incident took place when the three youths were posing for a photograph on the railway tracks, while their fourth colleague was clicking the picture from the camera, police said.

The youths could not hear the sound of Delhi-bound Amritsar Express coming from Mathura Junction, as another train coming from Delhi and proceeding to Mathura Jn was passing through the adjacent track, the FIR said.

The deceased have been identified as Iqbal (20), from Faridabad, Afzal (22), from Ghaziabad, and Yaqoob (21) from Delhi.

However, the youth clicking the pictures survived as he was not on the track, police said.
