Two die due to undiagnosed ailment in Lucknow

Lucknow: Two persons died and several
others were taken ill due to an undiagnosed ailment in Khadra locality in Daliganj area, health department officials said here Tuesday.

"Two persons have died due to diarrhoea like symptoms
with fever in Khadra locality of the city yesterday," Chief
Medical Officer A K Shukla said.

He said that the exact nature of the ailment could not
be ascertained yet and a team of two doctors have been
constituted for analysing the test reports of the victims and give its findings.
Meanwhile, medical camps have been set up in the
locality to provide treatment to the ill persons.
Presently, over half a dozen persons are undergoing
treatment in the hospital.
