Two killed, 10 injured in group clash between two brothers in Bareilly

Two persons were killed and 10 others injured in a clash between supporters of two brothers over land dispute in Bhamaura area, police said here Saturday.

Bareilly: Two persons were killed and 10 others injured in a clash between supporters of two brothers over land dispute in Bhamaura area, police said here Saturday.

Additional Superintendent of Police (rural) Ram Swaroop Singh said that Prempal and his brother Teekaram were having dispute over agricultural land in Gahara village.

Last night Prempal destroyed Teekaram`s crop and on getting the information the latter also reached the spot.
The ASP said that the duo had a scuffle, which later turned into a clash in which supporters of both the sides attacked each others with sticks and sharp-edged weapon.

Teekaram`s son Ompal (24) and Prempal`s son-in-law Vijendra (25) were killed in the clash, whereas 10 persons from both the sides were injured, he said.

The injured have been admitted to a private hospital where their condition was stated to be serious.
