Muzaffarnagar: Two people were killed and
four others, including two women, were seriously injured
during an exchange of fire between two groups in Baghpat area
here, police said Thursday.
Two brothers, Hamid (28) and Bhura (26), were killed when
a minor altercation between two groups turned violent, said
police officials, adding that a vehicle was also set on fire
in the ensuing melee.
Police officials have been deployed in the area to
prevent any further untoward incident, they said.
