Two persons were allegedly shot dead and as many others got injured in a clash between two groups over a disputed piece of land in Saleempur village here, police said on Monday.

Muzaffarnagar: Two persons were allegedly shot dead and as many others got injured in a clash between two groups over a disputed piece of land in Saleempur village here, police said on Monday. The clash took place this morning when two sides clashed with each other.
Rajveer (45) and Nitin (25) died in the incident, they said. The situation has been brought under control, they said. In another incident, a former Deputy village head was allegedly shot dead by some unidentified men at Masadi village here today, police said. Gopal(55) was shot dead over some panchayat election enmity, they said. The case is being investigated, they added. PTI
