CMS Nagar: An eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 62-year-old man in Mohanganj area here, police said on Sunday.
The incident occurred yesterday when accused Shoaib Khan dragged the girl, when she was returning from the school, to a nearby field and allegedly raped her, they said.
Shoaib has been arrested and the girl sent for medical examination, they said.
