UP announces reward against Naxal leader

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Thursday
announced reward on three criminals, including a `zonal Naxal
commander`, a senior police officer said here.

"The state government has announced a reward of Rs two
lakh on the head of Munna Vishwakarma, zonal commander of
Naxals," ADGP Brij Lal told reporters here.

He said Vishwakarma, who hails from Sonbhadra district, is
active in Bihar, Jharkhand and certain disricts of the state.

"A reward of rupees one lakh each has been announced on
the head of Dharmendra alias Lala and Neeraj Singh, who
hail from Bagpath and Jaunpur districts respectively," the ADG
