Lucknow: With the ruling BSP deciding to
bring a proposal for dividing the state into four parts and the Opposition SP and BJP planning to bring a no confidence
motion, the Uttar Pradesh Assembly session beginning November
21 is expected to be a stormy one.

The Mayawati government has already announced that it
will bring the proposal for division of the state in the
coming session, a move which has been dubbed as an election
stunt by the opposition parties.

Samajwadi Party and BJP have announced their plans for
bringing a no-confidence motion against the BSP government for pushing the state on the brink of disaster, deteriorating law and order situation and rampant corruption.
Leader of the opposition Shivpal Singh Yadav has said SP
would strongly take up the issues concerning the common people
and expose the mis-governance and corruption of the Mayawati
government in the House.

BJP leader Kalraj Misra has stated his party would also bring a no-confidence motion.

However, Congress leader Pramod Tewari stressed it
required a stipulated 14 days to give notice of no confidence
motion and this session is not expected to last that long.

The session is expected to be a very brief one, lasting
for just a couple of days, sources said.
