Basti: A father-son duo were sentenced to 10 years rigorous imprisonment and fined with Rs
10,000 each by a local court in connection with an attempt to murder case.
On March 14, 2010 Ajay Kumar was shot at allegedly by
Vishambhar, his son Manoj and one Pradeep near Dhaurukhaur
village over an old rivalry, government counsel Yogendra
Bahadur Singh said.
Additional district and session Judge Ram Kushal, on
the basis of the charge sheet, held Vishambhar and Manoj
guilty, while acquitting Pradeep for lack of evidence.
