Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Pradeshik Cooperative Dairy Federation Limited has warned of action being taken against employees participating in a strike despite a ban imposed by the administration.

"If any employee goes on strike despite ban, then departmental action, including no work-no pay, discontinuation of service and even termination would be taken," PCDF Managing Director Ashok Kumar said.
He said the PCDF Trade Union Munch had given a work boycott notice from August 1, but the dairy development department had banned the strike vide a notification issued on July 31.
He said milk supply was normal in the state and work was only affected in a unit in Muzaffarnagar district, as 19 employees abstained from work.

Action is being taken against absent employees, the MD said.
