Jaunpur (UP): A woman was killed and her son seriously injured when the roof of their house collapsed in Sikrara area here, police said on Sunday.
Rita Devi (32) was killed and her son Sunil sustained serious injuries in the incident that took place last night in Khetalpur village, they said.
The villagers later rescued Sunil from the debris and rushed him to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be serious.
