Mirzapur: Three members of a family,
including a three-month-old infant, were killed after the
motorcycle on which they were travelling was hit by a train
here, police said on Monday.
The motorcycle was hit by Garib Rath Express Train at the
Jeevdhanpur railway crossing under Jamalpur police station
last night, police said.
Though the railway crossing was manned, the victim tried
to get through from the side gates following which the tyres
of his motorcycle got stuck in the tracks.
Those killed have been identified as Bhimgiri (22),
Shakti (20) and the infant.
