Meerut: A 20-year-old youth was killed in celebratory firing during a pre-wedding ceremony here, police said Wednesday.
The incident took place at Sadaranpur village when a guest opened fire in the air to celebrate the wedding. A bullet hit Jasram and he died on the spot, Inchauli Police Station SHO said.
No case has been registered so far in the incident, they said.
