Lucknow: A day after the Animal Husbandry
Minister Avadhpal Singh Yadav refused to quit over his alleged
involvement in a triple murder case in Etah, the Uttar Pradesh
Assembly was adjourned twice on Monday amidst heated exchange
between SP-BSP members over the issue.

The Samajwadi Party members tried to raise the issue
as question of propriety during Zero Hour. However, the
Speaker Sukdeo Rajbhar said that the discussion could not take
place under the rule.
Dissatisfied SP members then trooped into the well of the
House raising slogans against the BSP government prompting the
Speaker to adjourn the House for 15 minutes.

After the House reassembled, the din continued forcing
the Speaker to adjourn it once again for another 15 minutes.
The minister had yesterday alleged that he was not at all
involved in the murder and it conspiracy of the SP to malign
his image.

A local court in Etah on Aug 6 had ordered lodging of an
FIR against Yadav, his two brothers Chandra Pratap Yadav and
Amarpal Yadav and son Ranjeet Yadav besides 15 to 20 persons
in connection with the triple murder.

On June 10, Vijay Verma, his son Abhinav Verma and their
gunner Santosh Yadav were killed in Jaithra area under Aliganj
police station area of the Etah district.

One of Verma`s sons had alleged role of the minister in
the case, however, he did not name them in the FIR filed in
this connection.

The special DG, Law and Order, Brijlal had yesterday
said that as two FIRs cannot be lodged in one case, and the
order passed by the CJM was entered in the general diary of
the police station and it will be included in the
investigation.
