The Full Court of the Allahabad High Court, which met here yesterday, has forwarded its recommendation to this effect to the Governor for approval, court sources said today.
The trainee officers had on August 8 visited a restaurant at Faizabad Road in Lucknow to celebrate the completion of their training, skipping a farewell party organised at the Judicial Training Research Institute.
When the matter was brought to the notice of the Allahabad High Court, it sought the CCTV footage, of the date of the incident, from the restaurant wherein the trainee officers were allegedly spotted hitting each other and using abusive language.
Taking a serious note of the incident, the court passed an administrative order recommending the dismissal of Sudhir Misra, who is currently posted at Faizabad, Vineet Kumar who is in Pilibhit, Asharam Pandey (Maharajganj), Bhanu Pratap Singh (Bahraich), Ravi Kumar Sagar (Ghazipur), Ashutosh Tripathi (Azamgarh), Rahul Singh (Firozabad), Kshitij Pandey (Fatehpur), Sandeep Singh (Kannauj), Ashwini Kumar (Lakhimpur Khiri) and Akhilesh Kumar Sharma (Azamgarh).
Besides, three Additional Directors of the Institute - Anupam Goyal, Rajiv Bharati and Ajay Kumar - have been removed from their posts for allegedly trying to brush the matter under the carpet, the sources added.
