Varaun Gandhi takes CMO to task for absence of doctors

BJP MP Varun Gandhi on Friday "reprimanded" the chief medical officer of the district over "absence" of doctors at a community health centre.

Sultanpur: BJP MP Varun Gandhi on Friday "reprimanded" the chief medical officer of the district over "absence" of doctors at a community health centre.

On the first day of a three-day visit to his parliamentary constituency, Varun was informed about the alleged poor state of the centre at Motigarpur village by the local residents, MP's media in-charge Vijay Singh Raghuvanshi, said.

Following complaint Varun inspected the centre and found that no doctor was present there, he said.

Raghuvanshi said that the MP then contacted CMO, KB Singh over phone and reprimanded him.

Varun launched Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojna in Bandhuakalan, Jaisinghpur and Motigpur and distributed equipments to physically-challenged people in Bagia village.
