Ayodhya: Former MP and senior member of Ram
Janmabhoomi Nyas Mahant Ram Vilas Vedanti on Wednesday offered
prayers at the makeshift temple at the disputed site here on
the eve of the Allahabad High Court's verdict on the Ayodhya
title suits.
Accompanied by over seven saints, Vedanti, who has long
been associated with the Ram temple movement, was escorted by
a circle officer amid tight security to the makeshift temple
for worship.
The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court is slated
to deliver its verdict in the 60-year-old title suits tomorrow
with the Supreme Court rejecting a petition seeking deferment
of the judgement in the case.
