VHP protests at collectorate to stop 'cattle slaughter'

Several workers of Hindu outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Saturday staged a protest at District Headquarters here for allegedly not adopting stringent measures to stop cow slaughter.

Ghaziabad: Several workers of Hindu outfit Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Saturday staged a protest at District Headquarters here for allegedly not adopting stringent measures to stop cow slaughter.

Later they submitted a memorandum to the District Magistrate in this regard, an official said.

VHP's 'Gau-Raksha' wing's district president Aakash Katiyar, in his memorandum, has alleged that all efforts of District Administration to stop 'cow slaughter' are not bearing any positive results.

District Magistrate Vimal Kumar Sharma assured them that District Administration is already vigilant and keeping a strict watch on it.
